The Viva Boa Vista Association was created in 2019 on the initiative of manager Gladislene and her husband Ricardo, who identified, in their experiences as educators, the lack of leisure, socialization, and learning spaces for children and adolescents in the Santo Ant\u00f4nio da Boa Vista neighborhood in Jacare\u00ed.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

Inspired by a missionary trip to the Jequitinhonha Valley and daily contact with the needs presented by students in the classroom, they decided to turn their long-held dream of creating a social space into reality, offering cultural, sports, and educational activities.<\/p>\n

Initially, the project began with ballet, soccer, cooking, and crafts classes, serving 73 children and adolescents and already having a waiting list. Over time, the Association structured itself as a Civil Society Organization (CSO) for social assistance, formally regularized and aligned with the Statute of the Child and Adolescent (ECA). Currently, it serves about 220 children, adolescents, and young people aged 3 to 24, with a diverse set of socio-educational, sports, cultural, and professional workshops, seeking to meet specific demands for development, social protection, and strengthening family ties.<\/p>\n

The Association's trajectory reflects an ongoing commitment to promoting rights, social inclusion, and community transformation. Over the years, the institution has established itself as a benchmark in the southern region of Jacare\u00ed, offering activities that encourage youth leadership, promote social interaction, and strengthen family ties, contributing to the prevention of vulnerabilities, school dropout, and exposure to risky situations. The history of Associa\u00e7\u00e3o Viva Boa Vista thus demonstrates the importance of local initiatives that use education, culture, sports, and leisure as tools for integral development.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

We work in the Santo Ant\u00f4nio da Boa Vista neighborhood and surrounding areas in the southern region of Jacare\u00ed with children, adolescents, and young people aged 3 to 24 who are in situations of social vulnerability. Our work is based on strengthening family and community ties, preventing social risks, and promoting the comprehensive development of our users. To this end, we offer after-school activities in the areas of education, culture, art, sports, leisure, and professional training, integrated with socio-educational groups and individualized care provided by trained professionals.<\/p>\n

Our work combines social assistance, socio-educational and sports workshops, cultural-artistic and professional training projects, aiming to stimulate leadership, self-esteem, socialization, citizenship, and social inclusion. In addition to children and young people, we involve families and the community in activities that promote coexistence, guidance, and the strengthening of social ties, promoting integration, community participation, and opportunities that contribute to the prevention of rights violations and the improvement of quality of life in the territory served.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

Our core commitment is to promote the rights of children, adolescents, and young people, ensuring access to educational, cultural, sports, and leisure activities that contribute to their integral development. We work continuously and in a planned manner, strengthening family and community ties, preventing risky situations, and offering qualified social assistance support, in line with the guidelines of the Statute of the Child and Adolescent (ECA) and public social protection policies.<\/p>\n

In addition, we are committed to ensuring social inclusion, youth leadership, and the development of conscious, responsible, and supportive citizens.
